Founded in 1919, the Hudson River Museum is dedicated to broadening the cultural horizons of its visitors through exhibitions and educational programming with interests that connect art, history and science. Students visiting the museum can take advantage of learning oppertunities in the museum's contemporary art galleries, Planetarium and an environmental learning gallery. Students interested in history can visit Glenview, an 1876 Victorian home on the National Register of Historic Places, also on the grounds.
