The Arboretum is home to many creatures. What do they need to survive? Students will discover the essential components of every habitat and will find out what happens when any of those components are missing or altered. Through games and activities, students will also explore the concepts of fluctuating wildlife populations and carrying capacity. A planting project is included.

Reeves-Reed Arboretum's grounds, which include the Stackhouse Education Center, Roehm Greenhouse, 13 acres of gardens and woodland trails, our historic Wisner House, and of course, our spectacular trees, allow us to offer engaging and unique programs. Our field trips provide students with an inspiring, interactive educational experience that will perfectly complement their classroom instruction. Choose from one of our many Scout programs to meet your troop’s goals. Host your child’s birthday party in our Stackhouse Education Center to create memories that will last them a lifetime.
