Midnight Ride OUTREACH - In School Version

Description

Find out what really happened during Paul Revere’s midnight ride. Separate the facts from the myths surrounding the ride, then retrace Revere’s route from his home in North Square towards the Charles River. While using slides of the Revere House as backdrop children reenact the story of Revere's Ride, don hats and carry props as they go, taking on the roles of Paul and Rachel Revere, their children, British soldiers, rowers, Samuel Adams, John Hancock and others. Pre-visit materials provided.

Outreach programs are presented to one class of students at a time in their classroom or another available space inside your school. A minimum of two and maximum of three programs can be scheduled per day.

For travel to schools beyond Route 495 an additional travel fee will be charged.
