In "Musical Masters," students will explore a variety of instruments, learn about rhythm, and create music together. They’ll engage in hands-on activities like an Instrument Petting Zoo, rhythm games with boom whackers and shakers, and a fun group challenge tailored to their grade level. This experience fosters creativity and helps students understand music as an expressive art form. This option is available during the museum’s normal operating hours when the museum is open to the public.
This option allows you to bring your group for a PRIVATE visit to Akron Children’s Museum on days we are closed to the public. You and your group will have the entire museum to yourselves!
Please note that there is $350 minimum fee to reserve the museum for a private, self-guided visit. This fee includes admission for up to 50 guests. Additional tickets can be purchased at $7 per adult and $11 per student.
Akron Children’s Museum is a vibrant space where play inspires exploration, creativity, and problem-solving.
Located in downtown Akron next to Lock 3 Park, the museum offers hands-on exhibits focused on Health and Wellness, STEM, Arts and Culture, and Community and Civic Engagement.
What is a Children's Museum?
A children’s museum is a special kind of museum designed specifically for kids and their families, where play and hands-on activities are central to the experience. Children's museums create environments where kids can touch, build, experiment, and imagine while learning at the same time.
