Ox Cart Man

Description

Join us for this new, self-guided experience featuring Ox-Cart Man, the classic tale by Donald Hall and Barbara Cooney. After reading the book in class and using some Village-created pre-visit materials, come to OSV to explore in person. Groups will be oriented by a museum educator and interact with items from the story before entering the Museum on their own with a story-themed self-guide. Learn where products came from in the 19th century and compare to today, and see what was available in the store during the Village’s time. This program is available on Thursdays and requires some pre-visit work to be done in the classroom. Recommended for grades K through 2.
