Guest train ride opportunities when not running public trains:
- Galloping Goose #7 (1-100 Guests) ($500) (25 maximum per trip) Note: not available during pandemic
- Diesel locomotive with passenger cars (1-500 Guests) (125 maximum/trip) ($1,250)
- Steam Locomotive with passenger cars (1-500 Guests) (125 maximum/trip) ($3,000)
On public train ride days: $4/per adult & $2/per child
Please note that masks will be required in alignment with Federal regulations until lifted by the TSA.

Railroads have been expanding our world here in Colorado for over 150 years! Not only have railroads sparked innovation but they played an integral role in westward expansion, accelerating settlement, and helping shape our state’s economy. This open-air museum covers 15 acres and provides multiple educational opportunities including standard-based field trips, workshops, digital lesson plans, and tours to learn how trains have been transforming our state since the 1870s.
