Kids want to have fun. Grownups want them to learn. Field trips at Chicago Children’s Museum let them do both.
CCM field trips let students put their classroom knowledge to work. Our exhibits and experiences provide hands-on engagement with subjects like math, language, science, and engineering—combined with education-rich, play-filled activities.
What is included in a group visit to CCM?
Water fountains and restrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the museum, including gendered, multi-stall bathrooms with children's height toilets and single-occupancy all-gender bathrooms. All bathrooms and water fountains are accessible.
CCM does not require a down payment or charge a cancellation fee. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled visit. CCM cannot guarantee availability for rebooking after cancellation.
We accept the following forms of payment:
If, on the day of your visit, you have more visitors in your group than originally planned, we will require additional payment for those individuals.
To confirm payment via purchase order, or to inquire further contact us at CCMResevations@ChicagoChildrensMuseum.org.
We require a MINIMUM adult-to-child ratio of 1:5, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring more grown-ups! If your group does not have adequate adult supervision, you will be asked to reschedule your visit.
Our first rule at the museum is STAY TOGETHER, PLAY TOGETHER. Before exploring the exhibits, your large group will split into small groups of a single chaperone and their kiddos. This helps ensure your safety and enjoyment of the museum by preventing overcrowding of a single exhibit.
