Discover the region's premier symphony orchestra through active participation in our education and outreach programs. We are pleased to provide these programs at Boettcher Concert Hall, and in your schools and communities.
Explore the world of Myth and Legend with your Colorado Symphony in the 2018-2019 student concerts at Boettcher Concert Hall. Students will hear and consider the source material for symphonic music by composers inspired by ancient tales from multiple cultures. This specially designed program introduces the instruments of the orchestra to children ages 0 to 7 in venues throughout the metro area. Our 16-piece orchestra and narrator perform an interactive program which incorporates storytelling, singing, and movement with music. This year's program The Three Bears will delight young children, teacher, and parents.

Grades 6-12: Composition Techniques In Pop Culture Music
Supermusic! - Students learn how composers effectively use themes, textures, and rhythms to support film and television narratives. Composers include John Williams, Klaus Badelt, Howard Shore, and Danny Elfman.

This highly flexible program provides support for music students of any grade. At the request of the teacher, Colorado Symphony musician teaching artists can lead instrument demonstrations, listening/singing/movement workshops, coachings for band and orchestra students, advice for students interested in pursuing a career in music, composition/improvisation, or another specific request.
