The International Spy Museum (Washington, DC) holds the largest collection of spy-related artifacts on public view in the world. Our mission is to educate the public about espionage in an engaging way and to provide a context that fosters understanding of its important role in and impact on current and historic events. Using espionage as a lens to view traditional curriculum, the Museum provides unique programs and resources for both students and educators.
Cancellations up to 14 days prior to the virtual field trip or virtual program date are eligible for a full refund. After that, the Museum is unable to issue a refund.
Spies go out into the world to collect secrets, but without analysis, there is no real meaning. Analysts comb through collected intel to find connections and patterns, sniff out deception, and give context – all while avoiding the mental traps that can skew their results. In a highly interactive program where students are polled for their decisions and observations, discuss options, and form conclusions – they will test their analytical skills, reveal their cognitive biases, and dive into the world of intelligence analysis!
