The Linda Hall Library is one of the largest science libraries in the world and the largest independently-funded public STEM library in North America. Located within a 14-acre arboretum of 338 trees representing 145 species, the library’s collection boasts over two million items including a History of Science Collection of over 10,000 volumes with some of the oldest books dating back to the fifteenth century. Library tours are available by appointment, and they provide a brochure for self-guided tours of the arboretum.
