This year’s 60-minute workshop is centered on the theme of home and will feature our talented Resident Artists performing songs like:
• “Home” from Beauty and the Beast
• Langston Hughes’ “Kid in the Park”
• “Make Our Garden Grow” from Candide
• Emma Lazarus’ “The New Colossus”
• “En Frágiles Alas” from Cruzar la Cara de la Luna
In response to the performances, students will write their own poems in an expression of storytelling and self-discovery.
