Description

Visiting the Greenhouse Education Center and Learning Garden at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park is a great way to introduce the wonders of the natural world to your students. The park, Greenhouse, and Learning Garden are filled with hands-on experiences that will inspire young minds. Students investigate arthropods, plant seeds, harvest vegetables, and cook plant-based snacks, even in the winter!

Workshops are available year round 10:15 and 11:15 AM on Thursdays, and Fridays.

The Greenhouse Education Center is located east of the track, between the community garden and the skating rink: https://tinyurl.com/TheHortGEC
