Engineering Design Explorer - Elementary School

Description

The Engineering Design Explorer field trip offers students a dynamic, hands-on experience focused on the engineering design process. Through a variety of activities and collaborative challenges, students will learn to conceptualize, design, and build, exploring different skills in our woodshop, textiles studio, tech lab and more. This program encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the engineering process and the confidence to bring their ideas to life.

Pricing: $18 per student; $450 minimum // Title I: $16 per student; $400 minimum

KID Museum - Bethesda Metro Center

Located in the heart of Downtown Bethesda and directly on top of the Bethesda Metro Station, 3BMC is our administrative headquarters. Maximum capacity for Invention Studio and KID Inventor field trips is 90 students. Maximum capacity for Explorer field trips is 120 students.

This location is open on Sundays for public family programming (tickets sold separately via website).
