Engineering Design Explorer - Middle School

Description

The Engineering Design Explorer field trip offers students a dynamic, hands-on experience focused on the engineering design process. Students will learn about the Engineering Design Process while collaborating on a series of design challenges that spark innovative thinking. They will flex their problem solving skills and practice iterative design while exploring a variety of maker skills, including textiles, electronics, and robotics.

Pricing: $18 per student; $450 minimum // Title I: $16 per student; $400 minimum

KID Museum - Bethesda Metro Center

Located in the heart of Downtown Bethesda and directly on top of the Bethesda Metro Station, 3BMC is our administrative headquarters. Maximum capacity for Invention Studio and KID Inventor field trips is 90 students. Maximum capacity for Explorer field trips is 120 students.

This location is open on Sundays for public family programming (tickets sold separately via website).
