The Regnier Family Wonderscope Children's Museum of Kansas City is a fully accessible, nonprofit children’s museum dedicated to providing STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math – educational experiences for young children.
Wonderscope features 30,000 square feet of indoor exploration and 1/2 acre of year-round outdoor adventure, all with a unique Kansas City theme. Wonderscope’s mission is to inspire a lifelong love of learning through the universal and uniting power of play. Two school field trip options are available:
Exploration Field Trip: 90 minutes to freely explore the [exhibits][2]. Available mornings and afternoons, Tuesday-Friday. Costs $5 per child age 2+.
Adventure Field Trip: 60 minutes of structured programming through museum exhibits, led by Wonderscope program staff in character. Available Tuesday-Friday mornings during the academic year. Costs $8 per child.
Details
- Field trips must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
- Minimum number in group: 8
- Maximum number in group, including students, teachers, and chaperones: 100 for Exploration field trip; 75 for Adventure field
trip.
- Teachers are free. Chaperones are free with a 1:5 ratio. Any chaperone over the ratio pays the per-child fee (Chaperones must be
age 18 or older).
No lunch period is available at this time.
Restrooms are located around the property and are accessible to those of various abilities.
50% of payment is due at time of reservation. The remainder is due upon arrival.
